A Baby’s on the Way for Jennifer Lawrence
Baby fever is once again running high in Hollywood, and this time it’s Jennifer Lawrence who’s a mom-to-be.
On Wednesday, 8 September, a representative for Lawrence and her husband, Cooke Maroney, confirmed to a US media outlet that the couple are expecting a baby together.
The exciting news comes a day after Kylie Jenner announced her second pregnancy, and four days after rappers Cardi B and Offset welcomed a baby boy.
The 31-year-old “Hunger Games” actress met Maroney, a 37-year-old art gallery director, in June 2018 following her high-profile split from director Darren Aronofsky.
In February 2019, they became engaged; eight months later, they married in an intimate Rhode Island wedding.
Lawrence said in previous interviews over the years that she would love to start a family.
She said: “I definitely want to be a mother. I imagine I’ll have children, and then my whole life will just seem complete.”
